Bridgeton, New Jersey– The Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation (BBCF) announces the annual Bill Bottino Mud Run for Cancer event is scheduled for Saturday September 17th at the Cumberland County Fair Grounds in Millville, NJ. The 9th annual event, which has raised and donated over $750,000 to area cancer care organizations, will continue with the traditional 4-mile muddy course, live music, super BBQ, raffles and more.

Bill Bottino, Jr., President of the Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation (BBCF) reported, “Registration is now online at, and ready for participants and volunteers to sign-up. Although we are just announcing this event now, the Bill Bottino Mud Run committee has been planning since early January, reviewing last year’s effort and determining how the event can be improved.”

Participants are encouraged to sign up early as a discount is being offered at just $89 until April 30th.  Registration fees will continue to increase the closer the event becomes. Bottino noted, “We are hoping participants take advantage of the early registration discount rates. We also are offering a 10% discount for those signing up as a team, with the point being, one should never fight cancer alone.”

Registration fees include an event t-shirt and full BBQ, plus live music, a kids zone and a whole lot more.

Joe Profetto, Bill Bottino Mud Run Committee VP stated, “This year we are taking what we learned from last year’s effort at the County Fairgrounds, and fine tuning it. We are very excited about using the Fairgrounds again, as it’s a great fit for our mud run fundraiser. The parking is convenient, the mud run course sets up well for spectators to watch and the existing buildings work well with our registration, BBQ and raffle set ups.”

In 2016, the Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation will donate proceeds to two local cancer care organizations: Inspira Health Network Foundation, and Kennedy Cancer Care Center. “It’s important to our foundation to keep the money local, to help our friends, family and co-workers,” reported (name and BBCF title)
